Patient Feedback: How We’re Doing in Endoscopy

At NexEndo Healthcare, we’re always listening to what our patients have to say. Your experiences matter to us because they help us understand what’s working well and where we can do better.

Between 28 May – 31 July 2025, over 200 patients shared their thoughts about their visit to the Peterborough Community Endoscopy Unit. Here’s a snapshot of what they told us.

What Patients Said

97% rated their overall experience as very good or good.

97% felt treated with dignity and respect.

98% said their procedure was explained clearly.

92% felt their comfort was well looked after.

In Their Own Words

“The nurse explained everything clearly and reassured me throughout – I felt very safe.”

“Excellent team, I was nervous but the endoscopist was calm and professional.”

“Staff in the room were kind and attentive – I left feeling fully informed.”

We’re so proud of our team for creating a safe, kind, and professional environment for our patients.

How We’re Acting on Feedback

We don’t just collect feedback — we use it. Here are a few changes we’ve made recently based on what patients told us:

  • Updated our bowel preparation leaflets to make them easier to follow (with clearer steps and diagrams).
  • Introduced a pathway tracker to help reduce waiting times in recovery.
  • Built in regular feedback reviews so your voice is always heard.

What’s Next

  • We know there’s always room to improve. Some patients told us:
  • The preparation instructions could be even clearer.
  • Directions to the unit weren’t easy to follow.
  • Communication (like voicemail messages) could be smoother.

We’re already working on these areas so your experience keeps getting better.

At NexEndo Healthcare, our mission is simple: to make sure every patient feels safe, supported, and cared for from start to finish. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share their feedback — it truly makes a difference.
